NDIR Gas sensors

IR sensors are split into two separate groups as OEM and industrial sensors. The components measured are carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4).
The measurements are based on the principle of light absorption in the infrared range, known as non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology.

- Hand-Held-Instruments
Small-sized flue gas analysers. Although small in size, these analysers are big in features. They can be fitted with up to 4 electrochemical gas sensors. They are now a truly attractive alternative to other, larger analysers. Especially suited to quick measurements to check combustion sources of small to medium size. Produced in accordance with EN50379.
- Portable Gas Analysers
Portable flue gas analysers. From lightweight, low-cost units for O2 and CO up to top-of-the-range industrial equipment fitted with up to 11 gas sensors. Our analysers use a mixture of electrochemical and NDIR sensors. Of course, even the smallest analyser calculates all the relevant combustion parameters.
- Portable IR Gas Analysers
Madur's new Photon is a flue gas analyser designed to use principally infrared sensors, but can also be fitted with up to 9 electrochemical sensors. The modular construction allows the instrument to be configured to suit practically any user needs.
In addition to this it is possible to set the range of each sensor as required for the measuring system (within the capabilities of the sensor). The analyser also has an ample number of optional analogue and digital inputs and outputs to ensure ease of data transfer in both directions and documentation of all results. The analyser can thus also be used for various control operations.
- Stationary Gas Analysers
All madur stationary gas analysers are fitted with a high-powered Peltier dryer equipped with a condensate pump. Some models also have a heated filter and heated sample hose. The powerful software allows a wide range of uses for the instruments. Infrared (N2O, CO2, CH4) and electrochemical (O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S, H2, ...) sensors are used in these instruments.

Gas Dryers

These gas dryers serve as sample conditioners for all of our flue gas analysers which do not have an integrated dryer. All our dryers use a Peltier element for cooling. There are presently 3 different gas dryers in our programme. |
